Terry Don Van Brunt

Terry Don Van Brunt, age 51 died August 26, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on June 6, 1975, in Mena, Arkansas. Terry grew up in the Bethel Acres, graduating from Bethel High School in 1994. After high school, Terry joined the U.S. Navy, serving our country from 1995 until 2005. Following his honorable discharge, Terry moved back to Shawnee. Terry took various jobs to support his family before starting his career with Hytorc where he has worked for the last nine years. Terry was a man of strong faith until his final breath and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Morris, Oklahoma. The outdoors called loudly to Terry. Doing things outdoors fulfilled him. Favored activities included fishing, camping, hunting, 4-wheeling, or doing trail races with his brother Greg. Above all else, Terry adored spending time with his family, especially his beloved son Logan.

Survivors include his son Logan Van Brunt and wife Hannah of Tulsa, mother Denise Van Brunt of Tecumseh, siblings: Greg Van Brunt, Kraig Van Brunt and wife Allison, and Amber Van Brunt, all of Shawnee; grandchildren: Ezra and Naomi Van Brunt of Tulsa as well as host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Terry is preceded in death by his father David and his grandparents.

A ceremony to celebrate Terry's life will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in the chapel at Riley-Walker Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Clint Dawkins officiating.
