Peggy Lorene Reynolds

Peggy Reynolds, 90, of Shawnee, Ok passed from this life on Saturday, August 29th, 2026.

She was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma to Virgil and Nettie (Eaves) Hawkins on July 20th, 1936.

She attended school and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1954. She married Royal Francis Austin, October 30th of 1954 and from that union had two children, Kenneth and Joyce.

She later married Russel G. Reynolds and made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma and were active members of Arrow Heights Baptist Church of Broken Arrow, where both were active in their choir ministry.

She moved to Shawnee in 2025 after a short stay with Joyce in Pell City, Alabama.

She is survived by Ken and Joyce, 10 grandchildren, and a small army of great-grandchildren.
