Patricia Faye Green

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Patty" Brooks Green, who left this world peacefully on September 26, 2026. Born on December 30, 1957 in Salem, Oregon, Patty's life was one marked by love, dedication, and resilience.

In 1987, Patty married John Green in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and together, they lovingly raised five children, three of whom lived with them. Her marriage to John was a testament to the enduring power of love and partnership.

Though Patty was unable to complete her high school education due to family responsibilities, she found her calling in the medical field. She dedicated over 20 years to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing compassionate care to those in need. Her career was more than a job; it was her way of making a difference in the lives of others.

Patty's creativity and warmth shone through in her hobbies. She had a passion for drawing and crafts, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her unique spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Patty was the beloved daughter of the late Jim and Joann Brooks and was predeceased by her sister Sandra Brooks, her brothers Jackie and Stevie Brooks, and her cherished husband, John Green. She is survived by her loving son, Ronnie Williams; her brothers, Darryl and Richard Brooks; and her treasured grandchildren, Hannah, Connor, and Ethan. Patty also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends who loved her dearly.

A service to celebrate Patty's life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at her brother Darryl Brooks' residence, located at 207 S Pennsylvania, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and share in the joy she brought to so many.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Heartland Hospice and to all the family and friends who supported Patty during her courageous battle with cancer. Patty's memory will forever remain in our hearts, and she will be truly missed. Fly high, Sweet Angel
