Gregory "Greg" Christopher Gouker

Gouker, Gregory Christopher “Greg”, age 49, of Edmond, Oklahoma, formerly of Shawnee, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, at his home.

Greg was born June 29, 1977, in Shawnee to Loretta and Fred Gouker. He was raised in the Shawnee area and graduated from Dale High School in 1996. After high school, Greg attended Oklahoma State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He went on to work as a roofing contractor throughout his career.

Greg was a hard worker, but he also believed in enjoying life. Sports captured his interest from an early age, and he participated in numerous sports throughout his school years. Golf and playing pool became two of his favorites, although he enjoyed watching just about anything sports related. As an OSU graduate, Greg was always proud to root for his Cowboys, and when it came to professional football, he was a devoted New England Patriots.

In June 2024 Greg married the love of his life, Lindsey McRae. He and Lindsey shared many memorable times together enjoying live music and concerts over the years.

In his younger years, Greg was a member of Aydelotte Baptist Church. During college, he became a member of Phi Delta Theta, where he formed friendships with fraternity brothers that would last throughout his life.

Greg was a great friend to many. More than anything, he valued the people around him. His family, his friends, and the relationships he built throughout his life were among the things that mattered most to him.

A memorial ceremony celebrating Greg’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Aydelotte Baptist Church, 10201 N. Harrison Ave., Shawnee, Oklahoma, with Monte Dean officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Riley-Walker Funeral Service & Crematory.
